Taking Positive Action to Advance the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
How can you individually and together with others help to advance one or more the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)? This session will outline the positive steps that you can take to help to further the SDGs and in doing so further positive social change in your local community. The session will illustrate how others have initiated simple and practical measures to effect positive change on various SDG goals such as Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 5: Gender Equality, … Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, … Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, … Goal 13: Climate Action, … Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and so on.
