Cuba, XXI Century: Culture and Identity in Motion ::: Community Conversation @ Lillian H. Smith Library | Toronto | Ontario | Canada

ALL WELCOME! Free!

Beyond salsa, rumba, cigars, rum and sunshine!

This conversation will debate stereotypes and preconceived notions of Cuban culture and identity. We will explore the constructs of Cuban identities before and after 1959, and the implications of the Cuban Revolution in the development of a new culture that is inclusive and participatory. A look at Cuba in the 21st century!

RSVP online, please.
