Before applying to internship opportunities, students must attend a mandatory LA&PS Internship Workshop. This session will cover:
- An overview of the program, academic eligibility requirements, application and program expectations
- Provide you with techniques to compose a targeted cover letter and resume
- How to effectively showcase school projects and assignments as practical experience
- How to articulate skills, knowledge and experience in an interview
- Decoding internship/job posting; providing answers to industry-specific questions
- Receive tips to maximize your personal brand for job search
