You are invited to attend the Department's annual Student Public History conference. Students will be presenting on their placement experiences Wednesday, April 3, 12-4pm, in the George Spragge (main floor) classroom at the Archives of Ontario. This is a really wonderful event where HIST4840 (Public History) students present brief, polished presentations on their placement projects. Students, placement supervisors, and occasionally friends and family of students attend, as well as staff from the Dean's office, and members of the department. Please feel free to drop by and join us for lunch and to catch a few of the presentations.
The department is sponsoring a lunch at 12pm, and the Archives is hosting a guided tour of their state-of-the-art facilities at 11am. Please RSVP here and indicate whether or not you will join us for the lunch and the pre-conference tour.
I hope to see some of you there!
