Understand your first assignment – or, what is a university essay? Transitions in University Writing and Thinking #1 @ S312 Ross - Drop-in and Guided Writing Room

Understand your first assignment – or, what is a university essay?

You have your first assignment! But what does it mean, and what do your instructor or TA expect you to do with it? Bring a course outline and, if you have one, bring an assignment for a course you will be taking (or, an assignment you wish you had done better on in the past!) and learn how to analyze your assignments to make sure you focus on the right topic, clarify what you are expected to do with it, and create a plan to help you write a great assignment!

Spaces are limited to the first 25 students attending this workshop. No RSVPs! Just show up!
