"What are we fighting for? Black Liberation in Canada in 2017" by Desmond Cole, activist and freelance journalist.

This year, the Black Canadian Studies Lecture Series examines the conflict between fighting for incremental change and demanding reform/revolution. It will specifically explore ongoing work to dismantle the institutions of policing, prisons, and children's aid, and to reform the primary and secondary education systems in Ontario.
